Justine Harrison is a New York-based actress who recently shot a lead in the web series, “Unsung Heroes”. She was also a lead in the feature film, “The Last Intervention”, which won accolades and was shown internationally. She is a versatile actress with a quirky comedic edge. She has studied at various schools with accomplished teachers in New York City.
Justin received her BA in theatre from the New School University. She studied film and acting and loves discussing and reviewing film. She especially enjoys European film and “slice of life” dramadies. Her New York City theatre credits include “Pymagilion”, “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Vagina Monologues”, “How I Killed My Roommate…” and many more.

Safiya Songhai is a filmmaker and journalist based in New York City. She is a commentator for CNN’s Erin Burnett: OutFront and is a graduate of New York University’s MFA Film Program.
Robyn Ferrari is in love with the art of performance! Bringing characters to life and telling stories through words, music and movement fascinates her every day. Robyn began her training in the arts as a dancer and has gone on to earn her Bachelors of Music from New York University in Classical Vocal Performance. She currently studies acting with Anthony Abeson, and voice with Tom Burke in NYC while working in all three of her disciplines. She has worked in theatre, concert, voice over, and film, and feels at home singing everything from Mozart to Musical Theatre to Madonna! Robyn looks forward to performance opportunities that allow her to continue to grow both artistically and professionally.
Sha Hayes was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She is a graduate of Bowie State University, Maryland with a degree in Communications. She has written for Streetz Magazine where she coined the column, “Sex and the Streetz” and has had the opportunity in her career to interview such celebrities as Janet Jackson, Loretta Devine and Kerry Washington.
In 2001, Sha made her first national television appearance on TV One’s dating game show “Get the Hook UP.” She has tackled the comedic stage and performed at local comedy shows along the East Coast. Marie Juliette Steiensvold, was born and raised in France. She studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and has worked on numerous low budget productions as an AD, Script Supervisor and Associate Producer. Her short film, “And the World Goes Round” showcased in a dozen festivals worldwide and was acquired by the French television network, “France 3.”
In recent years, she has devoted her energy to writing screenplays, always look for entertaining yet thought-provoking, character driven stories exploring various aspects of the human condition. Her latest feature script, MRS. SEYERLING, place in the Top Ten finalists at the 2013 Cinequest Screenplay Competition.
Yolanda Shoshana “Shoshi,” is a lifestyle provocateur that arouses women around the world to think and take action to live a luscious life. Her philosophy is that the luscious life is about LOVE..love of yourself and making life the best lover you ever had!
Born in Houston, TX and educated at the College of Santa Fe, NM, she is a multi-platform media personality, lifestyle journalist, luscious life guru, sex goddess, perfume creatrix, wedding officiant, matchmaker, and new thought speaker in New York City known as the “Luscious Lifestyle Diva”.
She is a popular expert on sex, love/relationships, aphrodisiacs, courtesans, divine feminine, and luscious living. You can listen to her radio show, The Luscious Life, on WomensRadio.com. She is also starting a modern day courtesan school called School of the Courtisane Moderne and the creatrix of a perfume line called Modern Courtesan by YS.
Danielle Winston writes about everything ranging from art, beauty, food and all green subjects (even dogs); her magazines can regularly be read in regional and national publications. She is also a certifed Hatha Yoga teacher from Integral Yoga, which she teaches at various locations throughout Manhattan and to private clients.
And for toddlers, she wrote and illustrated the “Betsy Green Bean,” children’s picture book series about a five-year-old Manhattan witch, whose magical night in a West Village community garden shows her how to love vegetables.
Carmen Mathis is an actor, director (theatre) and playwright. Her acting career spans over 30 years with performances on stage, film and television. Her plays, 30 Years in the Life of Cleopatra Jackson (1998) and The Oldies Dance (2001) were produced by Theater for the New City. She is currently adapting another play, Three Biddies and a Sprite (2009) into a futuristic fantasy film. Carmen is the Executive Producer and Host of “The Carmen Mathis Show,” a variety show which presents talented singers, actors, dancers, comedians, poets and musicians.
Debra Kirschner is a New York based film and television writer and director. She is best known for her indie film, “The Toll Booth”. She has several projects in development, however, her web series, “The Happy Mommy Hustle” can be viewed on her website.
Stefanie Alleyne is an East Village resident and the current Education Coordinator at Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN), a public access television station in in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. She consistently strives to craft and translate life into stories.
With a BA in Anthropology from CUNY Hunter College, her interest of culture and people, only continues to expand as she further explores new venues to create intriguing stories. She has directed such films as “Good Morning Not” and “Interviews with Rene,” a narrative film that follows Rene Angelo, a transgender woman, through various job interviews. Stefanie continues to use anthropology and film to connect to the varying lives around her.
Mimi Spillane is our correspondent for the VOD Video on Demand Pick-of-the-Week segment. She has a 32 year career in television news, mostly for CBS. A native New Yorker, born on Staten Island, she has lived in London, England, Washington, DC, and St, Louis, Missouri. She has travelled all over Europe and the Middle East for news coverage. Currently, Mimi has at talk show in development and is developing a voice-over career.
Founder and Creator
Denise Goins is the founder and creator of “let’s talk film.” She has worked in the broadcast industry as a designer, producer and editor for over twelve years at Democracy Now!, ABC, the CW Network, and the networks of CBS, CNN and Fox Business Network, respectively. In addition, she collaborates on numerous post-production and editing projects for the national and international media. She is also an active member of NYWIFT (New York Women in Film and Television) and WGAE (Writer’s Guild of America East).
Born and raised in the Midwest, she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute and her Master’s of Science from New York University.
